I received a review sample of Yigal Mesika's new Spider PenX yesterday, and I was not only very surprised, but quite impressed as well.
This is the logical next step in the evolution of the spider pen. The pen itself looks like a normal metal ballpoint pen. The battery is upgraded. The use of the AAAA battery is one of the keys to the pen's success. This gives you plenty of power to perform, yet keeps the pen small. You can get extra batteries from Amazon if you can't find them locally. The routines shown on the video are really elegant, especially "ReLeaf." The Floating and Walking Bill is very clever. All of these will take a little practice, but that should not be a problem. Anything worth doing is worth practicing. I've been doing thread work for 50 years, and this is the logical culmination of the Art of magic with thread. Available from your favorite magic dealer. It comes with plenty of wax for you to use for what thread workers use wax for. The video instructions are excellent. Yigal has another winner on his hands!!!! Bill Palmer, M.I.M.C.

Correction: The Spider PenX does not come with extra wax. This needs to be purchased separately. Yigal sent me some extra wax, because he knew that I had not been doing much magic lately.
Sorry for any confusion. Bill
