Many, MANY years ago I bought a set of "Chinese" coins. They are dollar size, very thin, and have a cerrated edge. A stack of 4 is only 3/16" thick. I believe they were made by Joker Magic.... but could be mistaked.

Does anyone know if these coins are still available, or know a source for similar coins.... dollar size, hole in the middle, relatively thin, cerrated edge.

What did they look like on the face?
There are many of this kind around: https://www.amazon.com/Hestya-Chinese-Fo......78N71F84 (not making a claim on the size for those, just giving a style) that are very thin, and can be found in all sorts of diameters. But they don't have serrated edges. But you could always get some and take a file/sandpaper to the edges to add more grip. though it won't be quite as good as if it were serrated.

I think Joker Magic still does the "Chinese color change" which has a very thin C/S insert, but that's also not serrated, and you'd be hard pressed to buy that in bulk.

Doing a quick search, this looks promising for you: https://www.mymagic.com/p/money-magic/green-two-chinese-coins-with-matching-shell. I can't quite tell the thickness, though it does seem quite thin from the picture. Unfortunately, it (and most of the other colors) seem to be out of stock. The only one I see is silver (smaller than a dollar, bigger than half, and there's only one.

I don't see anything on the Joker Magic site itself.

Past that, I don't think there are a whole lot of options. I hope that helps.

Due to the thickness, could they possibly have been a set of palming coins ?

Ah, sorry. I'd meant to include that in my analysis.
Those do exist, but are a bit expensive, and don't come in many forms. they also don't seem to have milled edges.
They say they're thin, but they honestly don't look much different than the Feng Shui coins, and are significantly more expensive.

I think that's per coin!

Thanks everyone. They may well be palming / prodution coins. But, in any case, I cant find them. I basically want (need) a milled edge coin for Charming Chinese Challenge, and variations. One move I want to develop in a routine uses the JW Grip, but I cant hang on to a dollar sized coin that isn't milled. I just cant find any milled coins with a hole in the center... ugh
