I finally got to use my 8-foot appearing wand, so it was time to review it.

I've only seen these at auctions, so I know little about it. It seemed to be cut from a natural but bleached sponge, cut to the shape of bread, and colored around the edges to simulate crust.

I haven't used it , but I will say that watching the video demo the method looks rather obvious.
