I have both. They both have multiple uses and have a lot in common despite being totally dissimilar.

I know this isn't particularly helpful, but either one won't leave you disappointed.

David.

I own the SUC II.

I knew the secret and many of the possible routines you could do, both with SUC and with the MDW before I purchased SUC.

I have not regret that investment one second.
I use it almost every day.

I have both but did not got in with SUC, in my opinion the Mind Spy is of more practical use.

I have both. As David said, both are good devices. (Anyway, I prefer to use Acidus Novus or Busch Billet instead.)

Maybe SUC is more practical, because it is smaller and fits everywhere. The handling is also simpler.

But the MSW is algo great.

Maybe you need to think which one will look more “natural” for you.

Enriqueenriquez makes a good point. What do you want to accomplish?

We use a SUC in every show. I've have a small stockpile of them to ensure that I am never without one.

On the other hand, you can do a complete half hour act using the Mind Spy Wallet alone, and never have the wallet suspected.

Scott, what do you want to accomplish?

I would like to use the case to obtain a name written on the back of a business card, in place of a center tear. But I am open to further expanding my options.

Scott,

If obtaining a name on the back of a business card is the goal, it could easily be accomplished by both of the wallets in question. The SUC is smaller, as you are probably aware, and less expensive. I prefer the older version to the newly marked version.

Like the Mind Spy Wallet, it can really be used for everyday functions. My actual business card holder is the SUC case.

I'm sure you are aware that there are many more ways than the center tear and wallets to accomplish your goal. There is a perfect choice out there that will fit into the mystery you want to perform.

Hope that helps.

Scott, the SUC 2 is capable of far more than just peeks. It is a devious device for several applications, and it is so plain and simple looking no one ever suspects anything.

I use this for one of the most bizarre routines I do.

How long does it take SUC II to arrive by post to the UK?

I have been waiting six weeks and am now getting no reply from MarkyApril@aol.com, although he has already charged me!

Myster, I have to agree with you whole heartedly even though I don't have the SUC (I would love to buy one, but I am put off by the bad business Mark Strivings seems to be operating).

I have read ONE effect which deals with a spectator/participant being trapped in a continuous loop of time (yes, really). It's by a member of this Café and is incredible. Does anyone know of any other suppliers of the SUC2?

Mark Strivings is the worst dealer I've dealt with, and I'm not the only one who's had bad experiences. Check out this thread too.
If you really want something by Mark Strivings I strongly suggest to try buying it from any other dealer.

Cheers,
Gio

Hi All,

My Mind Spy wallet is in stock and ready to ship. We also do the Stealth wallet which is a credit card sized peek wallet.

Best Regards

Was looking forward to purchasing the SUC II from Mark directly but this is disconcerting. Does anyone know of a dealer that sells the SUC II? Please advise.

What's especially puzzling is that Mark had a good reputation for his business dealings until this year. Apart from a post in mid-April explaining the situation with the SUC II's,
http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......forum=15

he's been curiously absent from the Café while his reputation has been taking a beating. I hope he's OK.

Mark Strivings has had a number of very personal changes in his life recently and that has effected his business, I realise this is of no use to those who are waiting for material from him but he is not intentially being late and knowing this may put your minds at ease a little...

The SUC & SUC 2 are both great wallets, Peter Nardis Mind Spy is also fantastic, The Block Buster routine in the instructions is one of the best uses of a peek wallet I have ever read. I own both the Mind Spy and SUC 2 as well as The Stealth Wallet and which is better is a matter of choice. I have found that with close up performances I have been using Stealth more. They are all great tools that have pros and cons to a certain degree but like any peek device it is in the handling and motivation that deceives and audience. You could have the best wallet in the world but your motivation and handling point towards the wallet so much that even if a spectator doesn't know how the wallet works it must do something... I always like to have the wallet out for a period of time prior to any peek, I also use the business cards or note paper in a routine that doesn't require a peek. After all it's just a wallet right!
It's not goodbye, just see you later...

Can the spy wallet be used for switching (himber style ? ). I 'm talking about switching something the size of a polaroid picture ?

I have to agree, marks service was fantastic, but I am aware of people who have had problems, I'm positive this is not intentional on his behalf.

myster, dangermouse is familiar with the glitch, my email account has been inactive for a while so please accept my apologies f I am a little late with my replys.

I've got Stealth in my pocket even as I type this. It's my everyday wallet -- and also a good peek device.
