I think knowingly putting out a defective product and hoping that no one notices or cares definitely qualifies as a scam. The only way it would not be a scam is if the creators did not know the products were defective. But how could they not know as they made and shipped them?
Also the creators do not sound too sorry about it, in fact they were condescending and acted like everyone deserved what they got, and we should all pay for their failures and attempts, and just be happy with the crap product because they lost money. To that I say BS. Put out what you claim or don't put out at all. They are basically just trying to stick customers with the bill of all their failed attempts, and have sown no desire to fix the product. Even worse allowing Craig to take the burden and blame, and letting him pay shipping for returns when he is not making a dime. I don't see them recalling it, they just want everyone to buy the defective ones so they do not lose any more money. Then they get mad when Murphy's does the right thing and takes partial refunds out of their account. So I stand by my "scammy and scummy" statement also. The product was a failure and to make matters even worse they probably tripled the price to try and recoup their losses, and decided to just sell the defective ones and act like people should be grateful lol.

Lost major respect for Craig on this one. I still think he could regain it by doing an Honest Trailers on this product that ends with him throwing it in the garbage. It's absolutely what he'd have done to anyone else who released this trash.

At least Craig tried to help put things right. Even offering to pay for return postage out of his own pocket.
Bonz, on the other hand, washed his hands of the whole thing in order to protect Propdog revenues. I fear the bubble has burst on Propdog's reputation for doing the right thing by it's customers. Bonz is living it up in Las Vegas at the moment so I won't expect a reply any time soon. |

I highly doubt he is "living it up," he is probably just losing more money.

How about sending one of these to the Wizard Magic Review? Let's see what Dave, Sean, or Wayne or whoever is running that now, have to say about the "bubble shaker" and "disintegrating salt balls." But the way it sounds they can't afford to give any away, and I think they know what the review will be like.

If theses are resin product, why not just buy the glass shakers from a manufacturer and then create the gimmick cover to fit the glass bottle? That is what I don’t understand here. Why go through the process of creating a resin bottle? I’m sure the cost to purchase the glass bottles would not have broke the bank.
With that said, it is like many items in e-commerce today being produced cheaper and cheaper but we all expect that to mean greater quality. Look at matchbox cars. Back in 80s they were made of metal and now to step on them and they flatten due to the plastic the use to make them. May this be a lesson in cheaper to produce is not always the best route. Or, mass produce merchandise is not always the best. Provided the claims of the bubbles in the bottles are not limited to a small batch. But waiting for Craig’s vid to drop and see what he has to say about it. |

Wow, every release the same creator has drama and been wronged. Starting to seem pathetically desperate, and almost embarrassing to witness, at this point.
Look for all the world like you're counting the brain cells in his cranium.

In his video Craig announces, that he is going to publish his entire Crystallize tutorial on youtube.
@Craig, if you are reading this, I think this is a terrible idea. I do not think, thst this would much impress Prop Dog. But it sure would hurt all the magicians who bought and kept Crystallize, no matter the size of the bubbles in the shaker. I hope you will change your mind. @everybody who feels the same, please support this message. |

Regardless, based upon the statements and Craigs video, this is result of a cheap material being used, imo. Thank you for that clarification. |

That's the way I understand and My opinion Only !! This Project should have never been released with the Bubble issues!! Craig knew of the small Bubbles issue and told Prop Dog to put them out small Bubbles are not really no issue the way I understand. I don't agree for $160 trick it is a Big ISSUE! This was not a $50. trick! Craig review channel said it was perfect next to none! Craig gave Chrystalize 100 percent. And never mentioned it had any problems with Bubbles. And after magicians spent there hard earned money on this CRAP. He runs out and makes another trailer saying the small Bubbles are not a issue and it kinda adds to the effect. That is TOTALLY WRONG. If the small Bubbles was not a issue why not be Honest from the start on your trailer and your reviews of Chrystalize you gave 100 percent? Not till after magicians spent there hard earned money and started complaining about the Bubbles Craig never brought up bubbles! Craig if this had of been anyone else creation you would have taken a hammer to it saying $160 Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles. Why put this Crap on the market. No I disagree Craig is just as much at Fault for Not Being Honest in the first place!! Magicians we all need to stop buying pre orders stuff. We all want the Newest trick and be the first to own it. We all are looking for the Best trick when actually we probably all ready own it!! We need to go through the magic we already own. The Best magic is the stuff that has been forgotten. BEST WISHES" |
