Hello,
I am an actor and magician, working mainly in theatre. I'm looking for advice on the best small smoke device currently available. And any advice on a good flash igniter or 'fire from hands' gimmick would be hugely appreciated! I'm about to go into rehearsal for a theatre production, and ideally I'd love to be able to produce smoke from my waistcoat, my bare hands, or maybe a top hat; and a flash of fire, or pull a handful of fire from my pocket, potentially a few times during the play (my magic work thus far has mainly focused on close-up with cards, so smoke/fire and stage work is less familiar territory for me). I need something compact, well-built, and reliable, as it's a full professional performance schedule of 8 shows a week across a couple of months. Thank you so much for your time. All advice gratefully received! Best, Darcy Brisbane, Australia |

You should realize that you may need a permit to use any time of smoke production device.

Sun Smoke Pro is good, but it depends on the amount of smoke you want or need. Rick Haslett from A House of Fire has an electronic ignition fire from hands, as well as many other fire and smoke items.
