The reason is there is a steep learning curve. Most of the techniques that teach you to memorise a pack of cards tell you that you can do it in two days. You can but then there is a massive difference between learning some cards in your living room and going out to a situation where you are performing it to real people. What ends up happening is that you don’t feel confident using it and find excuses not to until you get to the point where you have forgotten the stack in the first place. I think it’s important to focus on making sure the stack is in your long-term memory. I talk about ways of doing this. I also think it’s important that you have ways of being able to perform without instant recall. It’s why there are routines on the projects that are completely self working that do not require any knowledge of the stack at all. It means you can perform these routines immediately even if you forget to stack totally. And the gimmicks that are included in the product are incorporated into the handling of the routines so that as you develop and progress even if you forget the stack there are moments built into the routines where you can check to make sure you are correct. I firmly believe memorising a deck of cards was one of the most important things I learnt. I hope with this project I am able to help others feel the same way |

These jokers have been incorporated into the routines so that it makes sense for them to be there in play. It means as you are learning a stack you have access to a real time crib that can help you create confidence during performance. Does that answer the question. |

Hi Craig. To be clear, does Forecast also include your method/system to memorize a deck or do you just offer just tips on how to burn it into long term memory? If you don't include your (or a) system, I am curious as to how you memorized a deck...brute force, using pictorials, crib hidden in one of your tattoo's...thanks. I look forward to this project.

Thank you Craig for your contribution!
Is this release language dependent, or it can work in other languages as well? Regards

Usually I like to wait for reviews but Craig currently has the Midas touch so Craig’s name on the product gives me instant confidence, add the 1914 to that as well and you can pretty much guarantee it’s going to be money well spent.
If the speed and quality of these releases continues like this I may have to set up a standing order to Craig to save having to order everything! Mark |

Apart from the jokers, and the method of remembering the stack (which might be worth the money anyway), is there anything in the tricks that is not already in the mnemonica book?
Please note that I'm not implying in any way that this is a copy of other material. I'm just interested to know whether the content is a bunch of new ideas or is it improvements or variations on the previously published material. Really hope this question is not offensive - it isn't meant to be. |

Hi Jeremy Tan,
Thanks for reviewing this . You did a great job & have been so helpful. Tried to get this from both Magicbox & Alakazam today without success but maybe in a few days. I am sure it will be worth it as Craig is one of my favourite ‘Real World ‘ creators & is always worth buying from. Love the 2 nd effect you performed ( obviously know what’s happening) , but it’s really great for a lay audience & seems SO impossible . Hopefully this will be purchased in the next few days . |

Like Craig Petty (and Unbiased Magic Reviews), he actually demo's the trick that he is reviewing, making his reviews more worthy in my book. He also answered the question I posed to Craig Petty above, which was nice, as Mr Petty must be one of the busiest guys in magic. |

If there is nothing revolutionary in the methods taught to memorise a stack and crib cards are already included as part of any Phoenix deck then what is the real value in this purchase? What would it give me that other sources wouldn't? I want to learn a stack, is this the best way Craig?

Thank you ALL for the kind words. Means a lot to me. I’ll do my very best for future reviews!
@Doric: There are 10 routines that’s uses the stack. 3 of which require no memorization, while the other 7 are best performed with full Knowledge.
