This definitely has peaked my interest. I believe I will be ordering this but my only question is is it done with a regular deck of cards?

I've already thought about a few ways of using this even to the point of saying it belongs to my young nephew we bought it to teach him math. And of course I just happened to borrow it because it definitely looks like an innocent little toy to me.

If you want, you can do it with a borrowed deck, but that require some more skills. We do not cover this in the instructions. So YES, can be done with a regular deck BUT you do need to do a little prep on it!

This does look good - the performance was great and OMG Ron - you have THAT magic shop which looks like it should exist in Diagon Ally - I'm in awe!!!

This might be straying into revealing too much - so ignore me if so... From the description it doesn't sound like the numbers are forced, instead it seems like the magician knows the outcome (of the bottom face) once the mixing has been completed? This isn't an issue for me, but it would influence the type of effects - a force vs a "peek" effectively.

I like the idea of this.
I can imagine that the relative position of the opposite faces of individual cubes within a 2x2 cube will always be the same so the force can be built up from there. Maybe dependant on the colours seen on the top face? I think this has good possibilities and I might just invest once more feedback is given. |

Another possibility is that the cube has the same property as a regular die -- the top and bottom always sum to the same value.

Hi Ron and thank you so very much for your input on this. I am very much looking forward to it and I think it is quite obvious even to the Casual Observer that this has a lot of potential. Once again thank you very much for your post.

This will be very interesting to see how it is used in book tests as well as predictions. Depending on the method it just might be possible to use this a couple of times during a performance. I will definitely post a review when I receive this and I am most definitely looking forward to it!

Wow this is the perfect name for this wonderful effect! It absolutely is awesome! I highly recommend this to any Mentalist who would like a nice clean forcing device. I am very happy with this.

I maybe wrong but in the demo a lot of messing by the performer is done after the shuffle from what I viewed (ie rearrangement).
The cube is a maths principle which isn’t new, but I like the performance but there is certainly rearrangement going on imho. Best wishes Gaz 😊 |
