SUITACAAN-3 Stack (only 3 cards dealt not 4)
What is this post all about: To have a stack that gives the ability to do the SUITABILITY trick (uses a deBruijn type sequence) with ONLY THREE CARDS dealt (instead of four) AND BE ABLE TO DO A FORMULA BASED ACAAN trick! Here is the physical stack (a lot of work went into this): SUITACAAN-3 Stack: 7C, 5H, 9D, 5C, 10S, AC, 6S, 9H, 8D, 2H, JH, AH, 3D, AD, JD, 2C, 3C, KC, 7S, KS, 3S, QH, 4H, 8C, 10C, QD, 4D, QS, 8S, 4C, QC, 8H, KH, 4S, JS, 5D, KD, 6H, 2S, JC, 10D, 3H, 6C, AS, 6D, 10H, 2D, 9S, 9C, 7H, 5S, 7D The description how to use this is posted in secret sessions: https://themagiccafe.com/forums/viewtopi......tart=0#1 Above is the link. |

I just made an improvement to the Suitacaan Stack and I'm calling this stack "Suitacaan-JS11".
This improvement makes the Jack of Spades fall within the normal rules and thus its position does not have to be memorized. I am posting this new version here but you will still have to click on the link in my first post to understand how to use it (and to see the new cheat sheet to do the 3 card Suitability option). |

Oops it's better to have the QS in the position after the 8S so since they are next to each other just swap their positions:
7C, 5H, 9D, 5C, 10S, AC, 6S, 9H, 8D, 2H, JH, AH, 3D, AD, JD, 6C, 3C, KC, 7S, KS, 3S, QH, 4H, 8C, 10C, QD, 4D, 8S, QS, 4C, QC, 8H, KH, 4S, AS, 5D, KD, 6H, 2S, JC, 10D, JS, 3H, 2C, 6D, 10H, 2D, 9S, 9C, 7H, 5S, 7D |

To do acaan to allow for the two black queens using the formula just swap the positions (QS with QC) so the QC is immediately after the 8S and the QS is immediately after the 4C (but be sure to restore their positions before doing the three card Suitability trick).

On second thought always have the QS after the 8S and have the QC after 4C and just change the acaan formula slightly (because this way the deck remains pristine):
Therefore the magician's acaan calculation is: any Jack is 11 any Queen is 22 any King is 33 If diamond then add four If a male club or QS then add two. And of course if a black court card is named then the magician turns the deck face up and deals/counts. To make it very easy for a shill: abandon the methods described in this thread and use the Instant Shill method described below (shill subtracts 8 from the magician's suggested number). https://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/view......orum=205 Note that the above "Instant Shill" method that the magician does the heavier calculations so the shill just does the simple minus 8. |
