I have the first one, and it's excellent. Professionally produced and very exciting, and dangerous escapes. IMHO the best escape video on the market today. I can't wait for the rest of the series. These are a must have for any EA video library.

Mario Manzini has released a set of lecture notes called "The Art of Escapology Lecture notes # 1" It is short, only 14 pages of the best escape material ever put to print. Mario has worked doing shows for over 40 years. It was on the job training and trial and error. He did it all and went through hell doing it and most top performers of today have not done the amount of work Mario has. His long years of experience show through in his lecture notes. It is for the pro or those starting out. It is a true treasure because it is from a real master with real life experience in the art. Mario knows what you need. You should make a separete post announcing those lecture notes so more people can read about them. I bet they are great.
This post was about Steve Baker's DVD. I haven't seen them but I heard they are simply great. Have you seen them? I'm sure you guys are buds from way back having performed around the same time.
It would be great to hear your analysis of them. Do you have your own DVD out that others can purchase?

Norm's DVD has been 4 (?) years in the making. I've now taken over the project and hope to have one done by the end of July.

OK a couple of things, first I do have a couple of sets left that haven't been promised to anyone but those are just the ones I have left over from Indy. So PM me right away but first come first serve. These notes can be also obtained by contacting Mario directly at MARMANZINI@aol.com. He's also planning a video release as well as some really great escape equiptment. Norm is actually doing me a favor because I was supposed to post this a while ago. I will be making a separate post regarding Mario's stuff just so it doesn't get buried under this post.
I also don't think I am violating any secrets here to state that I know Norm is working on releasing his own Video/DVD and I have seen some of the raw footage. I must say that just from what I've seen, Norm's video should be FANTASTIC!! I for one will be reserving a copy. I'm so glad guys like Norm, Steve, Mario, and Bill Shirk have started to release documentation of their many death defying escapes so new guys like me can see the masters in action. Thanks guys!!
