Although I'm now retired from magic, I still found myself checking the Magic Café for ideas that still pop up in my head/imagination.

I've been a long time member of The Magic Café, and it's been an incredibly valuable resource and meeting place for me over the years. I greatly appreciate Steve and his crew for keeping this fantastic site going. And thank you for your patience with the cranky magicians (I have even been known to be cranky here as well).

Thank you for the "Thank you", but, you've got it all wrong.

It is WE, the members, that should be thanking you and the Magic Café staff for all you (collectively) do providing and keeping this labor of love up and running and available.

Your post struck a very disquieting chord in me as I sheepishly reflected upon how we, the members, take you, the Magic Café staff and the website itself for granted and, as such, fail in the most modicum of recognition and gratitude for all the blood, sweat and tears you all so generously provide.

Please accept my apology for this oversight and my breach of the most basic of socially required manners. If my mother was still alive today, she'd come up and smack me upside the head for such lack of manners. (grin) In reality, what you and the staff provide is totally amazing. The complexity and dedication required in keeping the Café up and running is the equivalent of juggling and keeping 10 balls up in the air at all times. Amazing. Just plain "out of sight" amazing!

The Magic Café is important, and it's one of the greatest sources for magic information imaginable.

I've worked with young magicians, and they've told me that magic is their world. They eat, sleep and drink magic. When I ask them if they've been on the Magic Café for answers to the questions that they ask me, they tell me, "no, man, I don't do the Magic Café..."

I tell them that they don't really love magic that much.

All I can say is I truly have missed all of you on the Café! I'm glad we are all back together again on here! And as always:
