I was surprised this hasn’t been brought up here yet. I think it was released during the Café’s hiatus. Anyway, looks cool. Love effects that don’t have to use playing cards. I feel that it’s more engaging to an audience that way. Not sold on the reason he uses to explain why they’re in pieces. Maybe you could rig up a custom one of torn up pics of exes for some reason.
Anyway, give this a look. I think it has potential. https://www.penguinmagic.com/p/17470 |

Definitely has potential, this method has been used so many times for many tricks using playing cards, photos and pictures but always gets great reactions. It's a super simple force that is very fooling to laymen. If your not familiar with this method then I guess you may want to pick this up for the price since it includes the photos and another little move Dan does to allow the spectator to mix up the cards before using the force. You may want search a resource for forcing card techniques to learn the method, then you would be able to create a routine using whatever you want. Though, $20 is not bad since it does include the photos.

I've performed this several times now in casual situations and I can say with hand on heart certainty that it gets very good reactions. This is one of those tricks that you'd never expect it to play as strong as it does because the method is so darn simple...But it DOES!

One might like to checkout Dan Harlan's 6 volume video series - "Premium Blend", released almost 25 years ago. Volume 1 explains the effect. IMO this is a great series for the novice as well as the more experienced. https://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S16720

Got this a week & a half ago when magic buddy Mick Wilson recommended it.
Just watched it . Very simple old principle but a definitely a high impact worker for lay public & well worth the £20 for a ready made impossible effect . Yes it’s basically a 4 Ace routine BUT the photos create a massive effect & as Dan says it can be customised. Excellent Dan & Penguin. Will be working this tomorrow |

This trick got the best reaction over Christmas for me....I made up a mismatched photo the size of a credit card and put it in an envelope....I used a psychometry theme where they hold the envelope at the beginning and relax etc...of course at the end they have the four pieces.....I make them into a photo...looks like it has failed...until they open the envelope.

It’s so strange isn’t how someone says “it’s like a four aces routine” and suddenly I know how it’s done.
The only question now is whether I now want to pay 20 spandoolas for the photos to save me the trouble ????
