Just watched the video and the smile it put on my face when you see the workings at the end was massive.
So simple so devious, brilliant. For me being a novice and still stumble a bit around the story / build-up of a trick this is great.
Nothing to worry about, just do it and build on a story Smile

Thank you Stunninger.

Simple, efficient, effortless ( as far as the peek) ! I used this exact method with a stack of biz cards. Adding the clip and credit cards breathes new life into a very old idea. Plus an everyday clip with $ and cards in play brings no heat.

Thanks Rizzo! Glad you like it and I appreciate you posting your thoughts Smile

What a simple, cool, lateral-thinking type idea.

The peek clip looks kinda hunky and crude, not like a sophisticated mentalism device (!). No one would suspect.

Thanks, Stunninger, for passing this along!

Thanks, Bill, this went right into my wallet EDC. THIS was what I was missing. My EDC is now complete. I have performed with this several times and it KILLS!

THIS is the trick of the year!

I keep 4 matt finish playing cards (available at Amazon for $10 for 200), each card cut to the size of a credit card, behind the SMCP gimmicks which is behind my real debit card in my wallet and I am ready for a mentalism routine at any moment.

I do my mentalism routines much more subtle. If done too direct, it is less believable.

I use a few approaches:

One is to write two words, on the edges, draw a box in the middle and ask them to write a word (in the BOX) that has the most obscure relationship with the other two words. I then appear to be "figuring it out" through analysis of how they would get from my two words to their word. This is my favorite approach.

Another approach is I have them write a word of "a thing" that could be drawn. I then ask them three questions that seem like they are leading to the word and then I draw what they wrote.

Another is I have them draw a simple thing. I then ask three questios and I draw something that at first doesn't seem to them to be it, but in the end it is. For example, one person drew a book. I drew them (as a stick figure) sitting on a chair... next to a table... reading... a book. Another person drew a bee. I drew a tree, then added fruit to the tree, then added a bee.

When I used to perform with a peek device, like a special wallet, they didn't know how I did it, but often were suspicious. This peek is so fast, so motivated, clearly my regular wallet, and I have poor eyesight, so to be able to peek while I'm trying to get my credit cards back in my regular wallet is SO GOOD!

KJ

DEFINITELY TRICK OF THE YEAR.
