It seems a bit pricey. That version is not the best quality, and the cards are not big enough in my opinion.

Fan-To-See is a classic Bro. John Hamman trick. one of his early gimmicked effects from the 40 plus years ago. It is described in Kaufman's excellent book on Bro. John's works and everyone in the world has "pirated" it. It was originally the property of Gene DeVoe (DeVoe Magic Den) of Saint Louis, who owned the rights to almost all of Bro. John's early gimmicked effects.
It is easy to do, but keep in mind, it's not really for close-up and the fan begins open (it is not a packet that is fanned in front of the audience,) so if that is a deterrent to your planned use of the effect, it's not for you. |

Hank's price is rediculously low... must be a KO from India? It is a great stage effect.

Jeff McBride put together a beautiful routine using two Fan-To-Sees. It's in "Manipulation Without Tears". It creates some effects that are not usually associated with the Brother John prop. And, because of the concept of the DVD, it's not difficult to learn.

McBride's version is hand made and pretty durable. I have a set of two, and although I'm not currently using them, I'm not willing to part with them either. They are well made and can be operated one handed.

The fan-to-see from Mak magic isn't very good, and if this is the same one Hank is selling, I don't recommend getting it. Seems over priced. The mak magic ones are not more than $10 , if that.
