You might also want to get Jack Chanin's book on sleeving. He was doing it long, long before Rocco.

I have video of Jack producing all kinds of things that were pressed into his back as he stood at Ken Klosterman's kitchen counter. Even a watermelon. It was not all about the sleeving but the pacing and misdirection. It was uncanny.
