I've been told that both Off The Cuff video and On the Spot video by Gregory Wilson are great for street magic.
I was just wondering what video do you prefer most? And also what video has more tricks? The Off The Cuff video has the "All Around Vanish", does the vanish leave you clean after you perform it? The On The Spot has the "Linking Ring Routine"(with keys), is it really worth it? I saw it also teaches RECAP REVISITED, is it the full routine? What video will I get information & sleights the most? I'd love to hear your comments on these. Thanks. |

I've only the second " video " On The Spot which is a two hour set.
Thirteen routines - Recap is very good , as is Ring Flight, Sponge napkins, and Quick silver. The only stuff really I'm not keen on are the watch steals and Pick Pocketing. The tape is designed for impromptu magic but would work anyware. I've done some of the stuff in night clubs as walk-round. These are mostly routines, by-the-way, not short tricks. Hope this helps. |

One other thing. You wrote:

Please understand that the "All Around Vanish" doesn't mean you can perform it with people all around you. It's called the "All Around Vanish" for a different reason. One other thing.... To answer yopur question, YES your are completely clean after that particular vanish. |

On the spot is well worth the money, I'm a server/waiter and I can use almost all the stuff in the video at my tables totally impromptu. recaps my fav because I have a pen on me all the time. I also enjoy the pickpocket routines. there is not a better feeling then giving the check to the guest with their watch wraped around the bill, or telling them I'll pay for it and pull out their wallet,(ok I haven't pulled this one off yet but I can dream right.)

I have both tapes and I would go with on the spot. It is actually one of my favorite tapes.

I also have both and would suggest on the spot. Off the cuff is good, but it has more of a routined feel to it where on the spot seems totally spur of the moment.
