Check out David Ginn and Steve Taylor's compilation "202 Questions That Are Hard To Answer" if you want a booklet of this kind of thing.

If superman was bullet proof, how come he dodged when the bad guy threw a gun at him?

Do cannibals avoid eating clowns because they would taste funny?

Clark Kent was Superman!!?? Smile

Christopher Reeve was the only person who ever made that work as far as I was concerned.

In the comic, they actually toyed with the idea that Supes had a subconcsious (sp) hypnotic ability that made people <see> "Clark Kent" whenever he wanted. Thus they did a story where people caught him in the storeroom and basically said; "Clark, what are you doing with that Superman suit? Get back to work!"

I saw an early "Superman" episode where the bad guy empties his gun at Supes and George Reeves, in his best smarmy voice, says; "Now what are you going to do with the empty gun?" The bad guy throws it and it bounces off George's chest.

I think this came up because George would go into a crouch before charging the bad guys and it looked like he was ducking. But I haven't watched the show in a long time, there might have been a ducking incident.

"The Tic" cartoon did a hilarious parody of this idea with the glasses.

Howie Mandel did a hilarious bit on the "Tonight SHow" when Carson was there.

Came out in the Clark Kent glasses and asked Johnny if he knew who he was? Johnny innocently answers "Clark Kent" and Howie takes off the glasses and says "No Johnny, it's me Howie!".

Then he looks at Carson and says "I guess these things really DO WORK!". I always thought they were a stupid disguise. It was very funny.

The worst part about that for me anyhow is that Lex Luthor, the greatest criminal mind in the entire universe, can't manage to figure it out! Finally Lois copped to it and they got married, but SHEESH took her long enough. SOME INVESTIGATIVE REPORTER! I always wondered if that was supposed to be a joke or not.
