I was wondering if anyone has purchased these cups and what your opinion is of them? How do they compare to the Johnson Cups, which are in the same price range?

I think they are terrific. I have a set and I like them better than the Johnson cups. At first I really liked the Johnson's but the weight/balance has not lived up to what I hoped for.
And now for the blatant plug: http://www.stevensmagic.com still has a FEW sets of the jumbo Galli Galli in nickle finish, and some Johnny Paul cups left.

I have a set of the Mark Burger silver engraved cups. They are quite beautiful. I think the pewter cups would be more practical to perform with.
If you want a jumbo cup, look at the Galli-Galli cups.
