Looking to illuminate myself in a small room about 20-30 spectators for parlor type show. What would be best? How many? Need some expert advice. Thanks

David Penn reviewed on the Wizard Magic review show and recommends something really simple.
Here's the link to the video he posted on Instgram: https://www.instagram.com/p/CkBhWLCI99F/ Here's the link to the product on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/NEBO-Slyde-Rechar......3&sr=8-3 |

Thank you. That just might work.

I use a couple of rechargeable Cobb LED work lights. They're small and powerful, and the aim is adjustable. I got them off the Wish app, but you can also find them on Amazon.

Do you have them on a tabletop or are the suspended or mounted somehow?

If you're able to tint your lights with a filter or gel, then the good front light color is Lee 152 (or Rosco eColor).
You can order sheets of gel from any theatrical lighting shop. Makes you look warm and healthy, rather than whatever color temperature work lights would normally be! |

I have the Nebo Slyde Rechargeable Flashlight (above) and can attest that it is everything as suggested. Very easy to use and sets up in seconds.

That's a tough question to answer. Is there more information on venues?

If you can set them up reasonably close, a photography lighting kit of a non-lightbox style (those would just be too big) works well. Portable and you can change the temperature to your liking.
Something like: https://www.amazon.com/NiceVeedi-2800-65......F976MJY/ Put them as high as you can (unless you're deliberately going creepy, in which case uplighting works) and make one side cooler and the other warmer to create a bit of definition. |
