This is the latest project from ARK, and last month made available for pre-order over at TCC Cards

These sets are geared towards the discerning collector with a taste for luxury, and are a follow-up to the Azure Dragon project, similarly inspired by mythical beasts of the East.

I recently got mine in the mail, and they do look as spectacular as these pictures show.





The tuck box is especially spectacular, with its unique cut-away design.





The cards themselves include design elements of these beasts, while the court cards picture Warriors of different ranks, all bearing traditional Chinese weapons: Spades (Spear, Lance, Sword), Diamonds (Halberd, Bow, Axe), Clubs (Warhammer, Glaive, Trident), and Hearts (Dagger-axe, Dual Swords, Crescent Blade).



Everything is available in strict limited editions, including a Classic Collector’s Box Set (Limited to 1000), Black Gold Box Set (Limited to 500), and Walnut Box Set (Limited to 300).









The Aces continue the patterns seen on the back design, including images of delicate armor and weapons.
