Well, I know there's not much chance of the draft being reinstated, but still:
During the Vietnam War, were you ineligible to be drafted if you had a job at the DoD? |

I would think that working for the Department of Defense would make you exempt from the draft since you are working for the "war" effort already but I really don't know.
