I suggest reading what Denis posted (at least a few times) and think about what utter nonsense you just wrote. Absolutely shameful.

Regarding the listing on the Conjuring Archive: https://www.conjuringarchive.com/list/book/3006
There is no secrecy when content is added. I list it on the starting page, as has been cleverly worked out by some detectives on this forum by going onto the prominent main page. I don't need to list addition dates, but I do.
I've seen this thread and found that there seemed to be some confusion on what exactly was published back in 2012. Since I've been a Real Secrets subscriber for ten installments and still have those issues, with the online additions, I figured adding these references to the Archive will at least clear that part up. There is no agenda in this, I don't know Craig and had no idea about his planned release before being pointed to this remarkable... exchange of words over here, have not spoken with Michael Weber or anyone at all involved in this disagreement. No interpretation, no "backdating" (it's from 2012 after all). It's simply a listing of the content.

To give a little more credence to the idea that "newguy" is most likely Weber, consider this posting from newguy in 2016: https://www.conjuringarchive.com/list/bo......ht=34523
Here is a magician who is clearly well educated and well versed about magic, the etymology of various tricks and routines, and the current state of the art. And this is back in 2016. Just before newguy makes this posting, “mastermindreader” introduces the topic of “Michael Weber”. Yet newguy clearly and deliberately misspells the name as Webber. Newguy is doing this “accidentally” again 7! Years! Later! Any other normal, well-versed, magician would have started using the correct spelling of the name. Anyone else. Put yourself in those shoes. If you knew what you were talking about, and were still interested in magic, you would spell this man’s name correctly.
Newguy is clearly not some newby. He’s got a hidden agenda, and most likely the man himself.
Apart from derailing this thread any further from Craig’s magic. I would love to see newguy come back on here and defend himself. He *is* a lawyer, so I'm sure it would be fascinatingly creative.
If you think THAT'S what makes it obvious... wait until you see this:
TRIUMPHOTOCOPY Copyright New Guy 1985 - The Magic Café
and then see who published this 4 years later:
TRIUMPHOTOCOPY by Michael Webber - The Conjuring Archive
I think Weber should pull Triumphotocopy immediately!

Hold up! You are getting confused. I posted Deceptionguy and am NOT Anonymous. I was telling Anonymous I was proving a point by pre-ordering, and sorry I hurt his/her feelings by doing so.
Someone misinterpreted, and it went from there.

My apologies on that. The way it looked on there wasn’t clear to me. Thank you for clarifying you weren’t the anonymous poster.

Alright. What about the verified buyer comment? How is it possible to make a comment as a verified buyer on penguin before the thing has even been shipped out, when it is still in preorder status? Like your comment is not a verified buyer comment despite you buying the product, so how did the "anonymous" get his comment to have a verified buyer status? Is this a comment made by someone on the penguin team that has admin rights or such and thus can add comments as "verified buyer"?

I am not Penguin Magic, but if you pre-order, you are a verified buyer. Unclear if you are still questioning me or not, but if so, please PM me as I have stated before I do not want to derail this thread any more than it has already been.

I support 100% Craig Petty for his honesty and transparency about his creative process.
No support for those hiding in the dark.

Oh I read it. If it was purely innocent, he'd have had to have at least asked for permission to post it. Just due to the very nature of the agreements that had to be taken upon being invited into the club to receive a copy. For 12 years all who owned took an auth of secrecy. Then with the impeccable timing of a meteor shower during a solar eclipse, newguy's dear friend Denis (Michael actually gave Denis an amazing quote for his book, fwiw) just decides to randomly update it. And it just so happens to really play well into Weber/newguys narrative... if they hadn't got caught.
Trono has been convicted of tampering with evidence. Weber has been factually outed as a liar and conman. More so, has an M.O. of using well connected friends to do his bidding over the decades... and then this just happens.
Yeah... no.
Yes, Real Secrets had terms and conditions where one agrees to "not to describe, share, or post videos of any of the effects or methods shared in the Real Secrets community." And if any terms and conditions were violated, then the membership would be terminated.
Think about that. Saying that one would have to ask for any permission is just your fantasy.

I’ve found the search function hasn’t worked properly since the big outage or around June of last year. Try searching for “edceipt” and this thread doesn’t even show up. I’ve just resorted to google now.

Okay folks, take a look at this review (you may want a sick bag to hand).
https://www.vanishingincmagic.com/close-......-savers/
I wonder who Guy is?
How nauseating. How immoral.
I wonder what's the best way for this community to punish a scumbag? Maybe boycotting them from now on (fellow creators, magic shops, potential buyers)?
I certainly will be.

Let's be careful with the baiting here please. None us know the mental health status of Weber. He is likely feeling really low right now and we are supposed to be a supportive community, right? He knows he has done wrong so let's now show some compassion and support the healing that needs to happen for everyone involved.
