Just been watching the videos and playing around with the props. I think that once the Tyvek versions have been folded and crumpled a bit they will pass muster.

My only thought is if I'm presenting it as "lists of grocery items I have purchased" they should probably all be from the same shop/store. So I think I some point I will make up a set all from my local supermarket.

Made it through 3hrs so far and really enjoying the ideas.

Thanks for letting me know. If you want to make them from your local supermarket Pete has a great idea in his section. Also you might want to check this site out. It’s really quite good.

Can anyone comment on how easy the crib is to read as I have poor eyesight ?

With regard to your question Warren then if you can read the front of the receipts then you wouldn't have a problem at all and might be pleasantly surprised!

Very easy although there are multiple methods on the project where you don’t even need a crib at all

I have bad eyesight and it’s not a problem for me

Likewise. Has anyone discovered the files to print receipts, which Craig mentioned in his earlier reply to me?

Thanks

Hey! When I spoke to Murphys they said they were adding the files tostada the end of this week. I’m not an expert at this sort of thing but I think they needed converting into something or other. So if they are not there now they will be.

I’ll contact Murphys and get an update for you ASAP

Hope that helps

Thanks a lot!
I really like what I saw so far Smile
I'm thinking about applying Rory Adams' steno book test method to EDCeipt, but I don't have a good routine idea, yet.

Just taken a look at Craig's recommendation of the makereceipt site. Looks really good and it occurs to me that you could always make a crib in the form of a shop receipt for virtually any effect where you need a crib. It is something easily accepted and readily dismissed but it could ultimately serve you well.

Just a thought.

Craig spoke to Tim and the conversation was amicable. He's yet to speak to Weber.

Craig said to expect new twists in the Newguy plot.

Buckle up!

Working my way through Pete's section now. Really like his 3 spectator presentation and letting one use their own receipts.

Agreed. It would be good to see. Craig sounds open to talking and/or reconciliation. We all should be. But the apology needs to come first and that means putting ego aside.

True narcissists don’t feel compassion nor guilt. They view others purely as instrumental tor their goals and needs. And they are convinced that deep down everyone is exactly like they are. That altruïsm is just a smart thing to fake as a trick to get others behind you and reach your own egotistical goals. My guess is that’s why Weber said: ok, Craig, you win. Life to narcissists is nothing but is a battle of ego’s. So an apology is extremely awkward, the line of thought would be: why apologize for smth that anyone would do had they come up with it?
Please check regularly if you are becoming the type of magician Jerry Seinfeld jokes about. (This applies to mentalists as well.)
