If you want to add a finale to your EDCeipt routine there is the transformation of a receipt into cash. One possible example is Buyers Remorse by Twister Magic- https://www.penguinmagic.com/p/S25840#reviews

If you want to add a finale to your EDCeipt routine there is the transformation of a receipt into cash. That's a great idea. Equally, you could routine this with "Extreme Burn" by Richard Sanders (or one of the other variations of Pat Page's "Easy Money" trick). This approach would need some choreography but would provide a shocking ending to the routine. Obviously, you need to be the kind of performer who doesn't mind mixing mentalism and magic. Quote:

Maybe, maybe not. Some people really do believe in mental powers. I doubt this kind of person would suspect the receipts are special. If you also combine EDCeipt with a trick using a shopping list using a PA, then I think you could deflect some of the heat off the receipts (I already perform a trick like this). Marty |

A number of people have mentioned that Amazon has the printers and paper for $20-$30ish ….maybe I’m doing something wrong but All the ones I’m seeing are $100ish & up. Also, follow up question… do any of the printers work with Mac OS? Because those $100 & up ones I’m seeing all mention windows and/or Linux. Thanks for any help.

I think Mac Users will need to spend a little more than $20-$30 for a quality printer that works for us. Look for ones like Star Micronics SM-S230i. It is Bluetooth and USB for connections. This is one of the cheapest I've seen that works with Apple devices. |

Wow, too much to read thru and mostly about crying back and forth ethics, morals, stealing etc.
So I just received mine. My beef and one thing that may or may not hold me back from even using this is, well, two things 1. The prices are ridiculous, not even close to reality. $1.00 for eggs? .99 for skimmed milk? And it's not possible to say this was before inflation because the dates on the receipts are most all 2022 2. The states are spread very far apart. California, Chicago. I mean, one may as well say I made these receipts up to test my ESP ability and to normalize it all. Anyway, that's my opinion and it's worth less than eggs or skimmed milk. PS: if this has already been brought forth pardon me but I didn't have time to read thru 56 pages of blame game. |

I don't think it has been mentioned before! Interesting...I wonder how much planning really went into this.
I hope the original version comes out again with realistic prices and with real paper.Maybe streamlined to work with just a few reciepts. If its great a few people will buy a couple of sets...a bit like many do with 'B'wave'

I don't have EDCeipt, but as a person just watching the thread it seems to me:
1) Despite some people complaining that there's been drama and an ethics discussion, that's been the most important part of the thread! Whether or not you like EDCeipt, the realization that a major name in the community has for 20 years been pretending to be newguy to amplify and fawn over his own releases while at the same time discrediting and attacking other creators is big news. And that Weber still has not responded to this news speaks volumes of his obviously low character. What a shameful revelation. 2)As far as the trick, the major complaint seems to be that the receipts aren't just receipt paper, and the prices/store selections aren't realistic for something you'd organically have in your pocket. But...there's also been several posts, many from Craig himself of resources on how to print your own receipts to make them how you want, and several ideas on how to introduce your props if you are worried about people thinking you are a magician and not a person with actual psychic powers. The real power in the purchase of this seems to me to be 7 hours of ideas and discussions from several creators about routines and ideas using the trick and the principal. Even if you hate the receipts that come with, it seems well worth the investment for the video even if you're just going to print your own customized paper receipts. Nobody asked and I feel weird sometimes chiming in because I'm just a newguy (but not THAT newguy), but I've been glued to this thread and thanks for all who contributed. |

Yes, it would have been much better if there were less than 30 items and much much better if the prices were realistic. Could have been an excellent trick. As far as printing my own receipts why not then simply sell a pdf for $3.99 and tell me how to do it instead of making me pay and then suggesting I go it myself. I don't mind the paper etc but I do mind the prices, they could have easily been correct or even somewhat close. They weren't even somewhat close. If it was 1930 perhaps. haha |

Hey guys,
I don't know if any of you have ever checked out Organic Choice from penguin which uses a progressive anagram. I also use the plain store fake template that you can find here and download in word for free. http://salesreceiptstore.com/fake-receipt-templates/ I like it and use this trick. |

I mentioned the spelling errors and prices a while ago. In the US it's skim milk. The company name is spelled Oscar Mayer. The pizza company is Digiorno. Not tipping any secrets, so no need to go into attack mode.
Again, I will be using this, just not as it was presented when I first received it. |

That is quite sloppy of a production when they went to the other efforts to have them look like real receipts. I myself don't care about that for my use but if I had made this effect I would have spellchecked. I plan to print my own anyway.
