It adds another phase to the routine that need not exist. David. |

Wow. No apology from Weber that he misled the entire Magiccafe community for years, referring to himself in the 3rd person, leaving fake reviews on his own products, attacks on others, misspelling his name and denying that he is Weber.
This goes way beyond simply using a pseudonym. The only fact here that Weber is scum. |

Wow, day away and all new excitements!
No matter how much research is conducted on this “project” there was zero information available for Craig and Murphy to know any of what they developed had been previously published. This makes them in the right as they did their dual diligence to ensure they were not copying anything. That is why this discussion is so long. If a creator wants to protect when there have developed, then publish what you have develop so it can be located by anyone who can do research into their project. If you fail to do that, that sorry, but a new creator and produce their project without crediting anyone. Unless you own a US patent, or EU/UK equivalent, on a particular trick, this is fair game if you don’t properly make notice through proper publication. Publish to limited number of the community is not publishing in terms of academia, which is where I draw my comparison to publishing magic as patents are generally not sought by magicians. Should Weber want to publish his version, I’ll review to see if I want to buy and then I will decide. Maybe I do, maybe he brings a different approach I might like better, and perhaps he doesn’t. I’ve picked up Transactions and will compare the two to see which I like better. As I’ve said before, it is not always about the props, but the instructional videos that I prefer. So, to Weber, convince me that your project is better then what Craig and Murphy has produce it you were in-fact going to publish yours this year and I will consider purchasing yours as well. I bought Craig’s product because I like what I see what the fact that we are getting not just Craig, but 7 hours of some top magicians and mentalists currently performing. I have no clue what Weber had planned for his release, I would be curious if Weber would explain what his was going to have; i.e., 2 hour instructional from one person? |

If I really wanted to put the wind up people, I'd post on my blog that I had a list of 20 prominent sockpuppet accounts that I might one day publish.
That should cause a few people to think twice. |

Here are some receipts, these are real receipts, look at the receipts…pick an item on a receipt ummm, bring that receipt to the front of the receipts, now I’m going to take the receipt I just asked you to bring to the front and stare at the back of it for a bit, now find your item on other receipts, give me those receipts…
Spectator - “why?”, Magician - “shhh, I’m counting”… Ok now let me fumble awkwardly with this wallet for a minute while adding a few more ‘ummms’ and ‘would this be good’s’ and ‘this might not work’s’ then I’ll pull out a crumpled envelope and show you that I missed the number of receipts your thing is on by one. Spectator - snnnnnnn, Magician - are you snoring? Please wake up! I’m getting to the good bit. OK let me put all of that paraphernalia away…would it be good if I could name your item? I can’t, but this would be weird, umm this might not work……….. (7-10 business days later)……you were thinking of Joan of Arc’s left earlobe! Hooray!!!!!! And you’re telling me there’s over 6 hours of elaboration on this! I’m sold, take my money! |

You've always shown your support for me in subtle ways and it has never gone unnoticed. @Michael Mann: You are obviously new around here and/or to the art. I have devoted my life to this art and have been involved in it for over 40 years. I've been a personal student of both Jeff McBride and Eugene Burger. I have done lectures. I have contributions published in major works. I have some of my work available for sale at Penguin under "Sudo". I have feely given away more of my work than I have ever sold. I am also known by quite a number of "names" in this art and by a good chunk of Café members, many of whom, I have spent lots of time in video chats with. I have been a brick and mortar dealer as well. Café staff members know me personally as do many members. I would not be able to post that if it weren't true. All of this is easily verifiable. My identity is no secret to anyone here and never has been. I even have a photo of me attached to my profile. The fact is, I use "Sudo Nimh" as a username because I thought it to be a clever (and humorous) play on words. More importantly, it protects the secrets I have for sale and discussions I have here with fellow brothers should any member of the public do a google search with my real name. I don't have fake accounts to bolster my reputation or promote my own works. And I am certainly not Craig Petty. You're barking up the wrong tree.

Michael Mann .. Loved Heat! Pacino was great in it!
Back to Sudo. Sudo is beloved on this forum for good reason. He is one of the more approachable creators who does the right things, even if it seems to cost him personally. He is an all round good guy. |

Guess ill have to watch for items on auction sites unless there is a new link. I have Prism but will check out the references you named. I would suggest others to take a Engineering course in Logic if they really want to understand the power of binary. Thanks for sharing and explaining your side. Your response was very humble to Scott and explained your effort on the subject. Having used Tyvek, a receipt creator, and publishing in 2017 (not just on RS or a genie freebie) definitely changes my view. I jumped to some conclusions without knowing all the details. I am leaning to the Weber side on this one. I do think Craigs team put in some effort to extend the routines. In retrospect, I should have held off and stayed nuetral. However, I already pre-ordered, and look forward to what they have to present. I also look forward to finding the reference material you mentioned. |
