That's so sad & heartbreaking. Never met THE man in person but had some email communications with him and watched almost every video from Scott.
It's a real loss for the magic community.

Wish his family all the strengh!

Awful and shocking.
Scott and I were emailing back and forth just last week about one of his great flash sales that he kindly offered the magic community.
Scott gave the magic community so much.
Big thanks Scott for having a hand in making so many of our magic shows so much better.
Peace, courage and strength to Jenny and his 3 children.

What!?!? OMG that is such a shock! He was taken way too soon, I really feel for his family. He was such a natural performer, such a funny guy. Wow. He’ll be missed.

I can only echo the shock and sadness already reflected in so many posts here. Scott was a gifted performer and inventor. His creativity was incredible as you always knew, no matter the props, you'd have a thoroughly seasoned routine proven before real audiences. Scott was also an incredibly nice guy and very generous with his assistance. I am truly shocked and saddened by this news and my heart goes out to his family and his professional family. He always celebrated Denney's legacy and I hope his example will continue to inspire me to celebrate his.

These are very sad news. I ever enjoyed watching the Scott Alexander and Dan Harlan Holiday Specials.
He brought so much joy, heart and expertise to our little community.
Rest in peace. My sincere condolences and prayers for his family.

I echo what others have said here. I attended his lecture at the Magic Castle last year and it was so much fun. He couldn't have been nicer.

Yes a total shock. Prayers are with Jenny and the family and his good friend Puck. I worked with him many times backstage and made several custom props for him and his cruise ship show "Elements". I had known Denny for years before I got to Scott. Scott took Denny's tuledge and recorded it all for posterity and then added his own thinking to it.
We had a lot of laughs working backstage together.
Lots of great memories of a professional that I was fortune to cross paths with many times. RIP.

Wow--shocking news. He was such a nice person.
We were emailing back and forth about adjusting his Fruit Bowl Production gimmick to a Rabbit Production to my request. He was willing to try it.
My condolences to his family.
