A force deck which is printed like half of the face is the force card and the other half of the face is an indifferent card. if we spread one way, all cards are different; if we spread the other way, all cards are the same.
Help me to find the name of the deck please.

See: https://www.penguinmagic.com/p/17117 (But I do think that the “Monte Cristo” deck is the original term for this particular gaffed deck. If I recall correctly, it may go back about a century or so ago, to Theodore Deland.)

But he said "half," and the Monte Cristo/Mastermind is just the index.

I don’t think my interpretation of his meaning was unreasonably incorrect.

How many magicians does it take to change a lightbulb? Regardless, for magicians darkness is a time for d'lite.

Thanks a lot, folks.
Yes I am looking for the deck printed half two cards length-wise. Refer image https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/98IAAOSwwC9hu-A3/s-l500.jpg

The advantage of the Mastermind deck is that cards can be removed from the spread (by the performer). This allows for a very free-looking display - as demonstrated in the Magick Balay video.
If you split them down the middle you can't remove from the spread. |

The Peerless Monte-Cristo Cards, the first Tossed Out Deck, was invented by Henry Hardin and printed by Theodore DeLand.
