Last October I was given an old, badly produced, poor quality video of an EARLY Motivational Talk I did in 2003.

The talk contained 7 routines from my books.

I had it placed on YOU TUBE as something my grandchildren could watch to see some of my Mentalism in action.

I debated notify people on the Magic Cafe about its availability because I saw many things I would different. And, the quality of the video is poor.

But one of the most helpful things I did in my development as a performer was to watch as many other mentalist perform as I could.

I offer it as something that may help you decide what to do ... and not to do ... as a performer.

Someone emailed me and asked how to find this video on the internet.

I suggest you put "Chuck Hickok Video Looking Back in Time" into any search engine ... or better yet put this request into the search box in the YOU TUBE app on your, phone, tablet or computer.

Please remember you will be watching a Motivation presentation that contains several of my mentalism routines. If you want just the mentalism routines, they begin - except for my magic square - at about minute 23 in the talk.

As I rewatch it, I see a few things I could have done better. Enjoy

Chuck

I have watched and very much enjoyed!

Thank you for posting this video! I love your books and I own them all.

That's fantastic Chuck. I enjoyed meeting you back in the day. I learned a lot from all your books and props and I still perform a little mind reading when I get the chance.

Thank you Chuck!

This was wonderful to watch, Chuck! The audience seemed to be having a lot of fun, and those of us who have your books with all these secrets are lucky indeed!

Stay well, and good thoughts to you,

Seth

Thanks, Chuck! I thoroughly enjoyed the video. What things do you feel you could have done better and/or what you would have done differently?
