My friend has a set of silks put out by Rice that are for a trick called "In the Bag". He doesn't have the instructions and doesn't remember the effect.

It includes:

*Three different colored silks

*Three gaffs that look exactly like the colored silks but actually have a slit near the top where you can insert silk and they each have small lead weights at the bottom.

*Large silk that is colored like a blendo silk

Does anyone recognize the trick and can explain the effect and how it works?

Apparently the trick is called Splendo by Warren Stevens. I still am looking for directions or at least a description of the plot.

Correction:

In the Bag is the first trick my friend needs instructions on.

Splendor is a different trick that he is looking to buy.
