There are so many(!) courses and opinions on how to actually find work as a magician, and arguably they all work, but some are harder than others, and some require you to forget about the business end of things and just sit by the phone.
My friend Ashley Green has created a system that works. Period. I have been involved for 2 weeks now, and have already got my first booking (for a wedding in September). And I barely did anything! It's called The Gig Hero, and there are versions of the program to suit your needs, your income, your availability. Live zoom calls, weekly check-up sessions, and ideas to fit into your own personal needs! Drop in, take a look, (and tell him RLee sent you! <wink>), and see how it can work for you (not *whether* it can work for you, because it does work, and it WILL work for you). The Gig Hero is the best thing that I have spent my time on in my 40+ years in magic. And it's going to make me even more successful! |

Just looked at his website, it's cool that he became full time in 2022 and
he already figured out the full system to success, I'm impressed, and I trust him now. Almost enough to pay €1600 (whatever that comes to). |

I personally don’t care for the Mind Reading & Hypnosis stuff but Ashley Green, if that's him,
seems to be one of the better performers. I wonder if he was on AGT, with the Voodoo routine? But I agree, $1700 is serious money to hand somebody you don't know. Tom

I'm not on the course, so can't say whether it's good or not.
I have been to some of the free sessions he's put on, and I've had discussions with Ashley in the past. Based on the experiences I've had, the approach and course matter is 100% different to some of the other courses on which I have attended. It seems to be well-researched and implemented by plenty of people to get them gigs. There are things that other courses don't teach. Whether it's worth it and whether it works - I can't attest to personally, and I guess is also subjective. But for what it's worth, Ashley is one of the good guys. I 100% believe his heart and mind are in the right place to genuinely try and help people.

The biggest concern I have (besides the price and experience of ashley) is that
it seems to be quite British innit? That's a problem because the wedding market is quite different between the us and uk, wedding magicians are more accepted across the pond. The corporate market also works a bit different British folk tell me. He says the approach focuses on "organic social media marketing" and "modern networking practices" whatever that means. It would be interesting to hear folks experience, not part of a referral program. |

Just wondering if it is also a part of the Jonathan Royal product line too...
