Since you are the author of this book, I was wondering if there are any routines that you use in you repitoire. If so, which are they?
I thought this book was amazingly underrated and it has some of the most innovative magic I have seen. My favorites: Flush Brush (I got the new PDF with my order)and Chameleon Sandwich

I use the tight triumph display all the time. And, when lecturing, before the book was sold out, I would perform Chameleon Sandwich and the coins across with the coffee mug, which is brilliant!
Doug's magic is outstanding and I wish I could give a copy of the book to every magician I know. Paul |

Paul, I agree with you. Doug Conn is one of the more talented magicians out there. "Tricks Of My Trade" contains a wealth of good, practical magic. Every magician should have that book on his shelf.

Copper / Silver Brash fooled the $#!+ out of me... and it's been about twenty years since someone fooled me with a coin trick. It's a perfect example of something that's missing from most of the contemporary coin magic I’ve seen in the past few years: solid construction.
I know every single move used in the routine, recognized most of them and do all of them. But because it's so well constructed it manages to fool my eyes every time I watch it and my head until I read Paul's wonderful write up in TOMT. There’s a ton of great stuff in the book, both magician foolers like C/S Brash and wonderful workers like ESJoker. Paul, you should be very proud of that E-Book. It’s a delight to use. The design and production is simply the best… |

Thanks Bill (it is Bill Duncan, right?),
In the credit-where-credit-is-due department, while I did write the book and design it's layout, Doug himself took the files that I'd sent to the printer and used them to create the wonderfully navigable CD. OH yes, and that other small detail: Doug's GREAT material! Paul |

Yep Paul... It's me. Looking forward to meeting you "for real" at PCAM.
I think the creator gets too much credit when magic book rocks like TOMT does. Sure, Doug's a brilliant guy, with great hands but writers... they're the real magicians <g>. Or maybe I'm biased? |

Bill,
You're too kind... I look forward to meeting you (and a bunch of others, too) at PCAM! Paul |
