Good day everyone.
Just a quick question about the Split Die box from Mr Magic. Does it have the "Clunk" noise that some of the other Die Boxes have ? https://www.murphysmagic.com/product.aspx?id=61453 |

However, I believe this video clip shows the same model split die box and in the demo there is definitely the "clunk" sound as the die apparently slides from one side to the other. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nvg5MM_vJWY |

The "problem" with most Die Boxes is the fact that the CLUNK in reality is just a little PING compared to the sound a block would actually make if it were sliding and hitting the wall of the box. There are exceptions with a loud & realistic CLUNK (Mel Babcock's Die Boxes for example. I do not know if he offers a Split Die Box.) The price is certainly a factor to be taken into consideration. |

Andy Martin has a beautiful Die Box (NOT a "split" Die Box, though) listed on his auction site now.
