Hi Fellow Magi-
I'm trying to come up with an engaging presentation for this TCC Magic item. What are these strange cords (mysterious shoelaces?)? What are these strange beads? Does anyone have any good ideas they've used for this (or the similar Grandma's Necklace)? All help is appreciated! |

Teething beads as necklaces are popular today, so one might imaging their origin with a 'nanna' a century ago.
There are also other "grandma" themed effects possible, with alternative uses for the beads and cord. I have performed an entire show using objects pulled form a reticule - a modified egg bag. So, the exploration of items in great-grandma's purse might be the story line. Personally, I would never perform this effect as a stand-alone. Make it relevant by a greater story.
