Hi all! I've been practicing magic on and off for almost 20 years now (since I was 6 years old), though primarily just as a hobbyist. In my eternal cycle through my interests I am picking it back up again, and recently learned about this forum. One issue I always had was there weren't really many other magicians to converse with, so I'm excited to find this place!

I was in same boat. Had been out of magic for some time, and have gotten back into it. There's a lot of good resources and folks here in the Café.

Welcome! There is an amazing amount of information here. This age of information and communication is so different than when I was learning magic, in the 1970's. I'm on information overload now as an adult, I can't imagine having access to the kind of magic info we have now, back then.
