Hi, there! My name is Erin Saoirse, which in Gaelic, means "Irish Freedom." I have loved magic for...well, let's say a long time. No, I didn't know Houdini personally (I'm not THAT old) but one of my favorite pictures is of my little girl sitting on David Copperfield's lap backstage. Well, the "little girl" is now 20 years old and has a little girl of her own (my granddaughter Shiloh Skye). I was looking at my old denim biker jacket the other day, and I can't believe all the magical people I have met and who have signed my jacket. Sigfried and Roy, Max Maven, Jeff McBride, Eugene Burger, Bobo, Alex Elmsley, and one of my favorite people, Bill Larsen of Magic Castle fame.
I was there when IBM Ring 2100 was presented with the charter for the first electronic ring (PC's were just starting to get popular and I had a 286 with a 2400 baud modem. I thought e-mail was a card trick! 14 years later I have a 40 gig hard drive and DSL! I have Fibromyalgia and to keep from going nutz I practice close up to keep nimble. I can even remember how to do some of them when I'm not "fibro-fogging!" :-D That's one of the joys of fibro - you usually feel like a truck ran over you and mentalism will never be your strong suit! One of my favorite buttons on my jacket is one that says "My mother thinks I'm better than Pete Biro". Every time I look at it, it brings back so many memories. Well, I've bored everyone enough so hope to hear from some magical people!

It was the only night I remember where I got all the way through a Phil Goldstein effect without forgetting half of it. Of course, I did it in about .3 seconds, so nobody knew what I was doing anyway! :-D
