This question is similar to other questions I have raised before. this deals with creation/discovery vs claims/credit.
the move has been called the benzais friction palm by roth, yet in 1942 marlo published his passe passe coins in bullseye coin tricks using the same principle...so who's is it? dug

Al Baker (1874-1951) has used the Friction Pass for his coins through table, should be earlier.
