There are quite a few posts in the official FB group about the units coming apart. Lloyd was quick to add a video to the instructional set with a solve.

G'morning folks,
As has been pointed out, some DEX units (mine included) can sometimes open up at the bottom due to the glue type that had be used. This isn't an oversight or an example of DEX being "cheaply made". Those of you that have watched the history chapter showing the R&D progression videos can see that this is abundantly clear. We have multiple different samples of the hard glue vs soft glue DEX's and ultimately, after testing out both for long periods of time, we chose the soft glue because above everything, we placed function first. With our units opening at the bottom, it doesn't prevent DEX working in any manner whatsoever. And when in the pocket the units are compressed. But, the alternative using hard glue meant the lack of flexibility that made it difficult to get a purchase on the inner suited cards. We QC'd DEX until we were blue in the face. Thousands of units. No units "fell apart" from our inspections, so this is a unique issue. Some were opening at the bottom, like mine and Jav's, but that is normal. With any product; if someone's has received something that's literally "fallen apart" then that's an isolated issue and will need to be returned. Myself and Javier stand behind this product 100%. If there are any questions or concerns, please feel free to get in touch. We're excited and happy to talk to you about DEX. And for what it's worth, neither myself nor Javier make royalties or a bonus for DEX or any of our other products with Murphy's. As employees of the company, we take home the same monthly salary, regardless of whether we have a product out or not. The key thing is; that it takes up literally hours, days and months of our free time to put our own products out on to the community for no extra gain other than sharing something we are passionate about. It's much easier to work producting other people's projects. We literally make no financial gain from this. Lastly, thank you to everyone that has supported us and DEX and thank you for all of the wonderful comments from the owners of DEX, both for the compliments on the index itself and for compliments on the tutorial video. Best, Lloyd |

Brent Braun said that One cheetah index half is bulkier than dex, he said its thicker than dex. That is absolutely not true. One half of cheetah is way slimmer than dex. Dex is about twice as big as one cheetah.
