Hi there,
lately I´ve been hearing a lot of great things about this book, and therefore I went to amazon.co.uk to see if I could find it.. and I could... but, the search result showed 2 different books. the first one was written by David Britland and "Gazzo" and called: "phantom of the card table" .... the second one was called: "phantom of the card table:confessions of a cardsharp"... can anyone tell what the difference is, and in what order they should be read? also, is it worth getting in hardbound? any additional information would also be great... thanks! The one by gazzo and britland is what I read, and it was a great read...i do not know about the "confessions of a cardsharp", but the regular "phantoms" is great...i prefer it in hardbound simply because I think it looks nicer, but it will cost you another 30 bucks or so, so maybe it is not worth it

"phantom of the card table" is a 30 page manuscript written by eddie mcguire and can be found on the internet, and "phantoms" is the book by gazzo and britland

Phantom of the Card Table was the original pamphlet about Walter Scott written by Eddie McGuire. Phantoms of the Card Table by Britland and Gazzo takes McGuire's manuscript in chapter 15 as its starting point and augments it with additional details some from Walter Scott himself.
