August is here, and it’s going to be another incredible month for MMR.

This month’s featured course content is 'Memories', one of my all-time favourite mind reading effects. This no-writing routine allows a participant to simply think of a memory from their life, and in a very clean and direct way, you can reveal that memory quickly and effortlessly. I’ve completely updated this routine with streamlined handling, new card designs, and downloadable templates so you can perform it straight away.

Our special guest for August is Josh Zandman, the modern king of the book test. Josh will join us live on Wednesday 20th August at 8pm UK for an exclusive Q&A session where we’ll dive deep into his creative process and his incredible work in mentalism.

And of course, weekly jam sessions and our monthly live group session continue as usual, giving you plenty of opportunities to connect, learn, and share with the community.

MMR Turns 2!

This month also marks a very special milestone: MMR is officially 2 years old! We began in August 2023, not knowing exactly how the community would develop, and it’s been a mind blowing journey.

MMR has truly changed me as a performer and creator, but most importantly, it has connected me with so many of you wonderful mentalists from all corners of the globe. I’m incredibly grateful and thankful for the support and passion you’ve brought to this community. You’ve helped MMR grow into something very special.

Here’s to the next chapter together!

Josh Zandman is LIVE at 8pm tonight (UK time) - join us for a live, candid chat and session with one of mentalisms ghosts. I for one, cannot wait!

A huge thank you to Josh Zandman
Last night’s live session was something special. Josh brought an openness and generosity that’s rare to find, and everyone who attended was treated to incredible insight, wisdom – and more than a few mic-drop moments.
It’s hard to put into words what it felt like… imagine your high school English teacher turning out to be one of the most brilliant thinkers in modern mentalism. That’s the kind of evening we just experienced.
Josh, thank you for sharing your time and your mind with us. The MMR community won’t forget this one

Can I find this on your site yet? I missed the interview.

Absolutely! the replay can be found in the August 2025 course folder - Be prepared to have your jaw drop at a few of his stories

What’s Happening at My Mind Rocks - October 2025

If you’re a magician or mentalist and haven’t yet come across My Mind Rocks, let me give you a quick heads-up on what’s happening this October.

MMR is an online community specifically for mentalists and mind readers, with a focus on performance-first thinking. It’s not about cramming more methods into your brain – it’s about improving how you perform, structure, and connect.

This month, we’re revisiting a powerful forcing tool I first shared at MindSummit back in 2015 — now reworked, expanded, and broken down in a brand-new workshop for members.

We’re also joined live by our special guest Patrick Redford on the 22nd, whose approach to layered thinking and method construction has influenced performers all over the world. He’ll be sharing his ideas in an exclusive live session.

In addition:
• Weekly Jam Sessions (every Tuesday, 8pm UK / 9pm EST)
• Private members-only community to post, discuss, and share ideas
• 20% off all products at Read My Mind Ltd
• Instant access to 320+ pieces of exclusive content including previous workshops, live guest sessions, and full performance modules

If you’re looking for a space to level up your mentalism with people who actually perform this stuff, you might want to check it out.

I’m very much a beginner in mentalism but hoping to find a few effects/routines for a stage/parlour show. I was thinking of a mathematical effect that is mostly self working. Are there any effects like this taught?

I would also be interested in “The Score” if there are any comedic routines taught, or routines in which the 4 spectators “win” and the mentalist “loses”.

There has not been a lot of mathematical effects, though quite a few that use maths for their workings. But if you join and attend the weekly jams there has been some work doing on making the Quinta force much easier to work with and a few takes on Marc Paul's 3045 routine that I'm sure Nic Pledger wouldn't mind sharing. I think it was in one of Marc Paul's talks we got a number matrix. I feel like someone else did a magic square, Looch might be able to remember more on what maths based effects there have been. I joined back in March and found it great value. You get a drop of monthly content at the start of the month, a routine or discussion of a particular area, then a live session with a guest some point in the month. For a small price I've had the opportunity to pick the minds of some of the best in the business for specific advice to my needs. When you think how much I could have paid for consultancy sessions with many of these it's a bargain.

Thank you, Joshua! I’m pretty close to being sold, and will pick this up soon, but just wanted to ask.

No worries, you can just sign up for a month and then cancel if it's not for you. There is an impressive back catalogue that you get access to while you are a member. Looch has been very responsive to fulfilling requests for particular material. Members have had the chance to say what we'd like covered and he's done a great job of finding people to come on. It's reaching a good point where there have been guests on to give basic intros to subject: billets, swami, readings, etc and is now adding more detail, variations, etc.

The Giftbringer has officially descended upon MMR, and he’s packed this month fuller than ever. All of our festive content is now live, and we’re kicking off what is genuinely the biggest month we’ve ever had.

• A brand-new exclusive 90-minute festive lecture from Jan Forster - three chapters covering Peeks & Impressions, Book Tests & Forces, and Mindreading & Names. Dive in now!

???? Coming Up This Month:
• Mark Evans - Live Lecture on Wednesday 10th December at 8pm UK
• Nestor Dee - Live Session on Wednesday 17th December at 8pm UK
• Banachek - Festive Special on Tuesday 23rd December at 8pm UK
• NYE Live with Looch on Wednesday 31st December at 8pm UK time

Plus our usual weekly Members Jams, a buzzing community forum, and your 20% members discount at my online store.

The Giftbringer has truly delivered this year… enjoy unwrapping everything!

Just a quick festive heads-up for anyone with an interest in mentalism and thought reading.

We’re right in the middle of one of the busiest periods we’ve ever had at My Mind Rocks (MMR), and this Tuesday 23rd December we’re joined LIVE by the world’s #1 thought reader, Banachek.

If you’ve ever wanted the chance to meet Banachek, ask questions, or hear his thinking in a relaxed, access-all-areas session, this is a rare opportunity.

And just to put the month into context, we’ve already had live sessions with Jan Forster, Mark Evans, and Nestor Dee. Honestly, the line-up this month has been ridiculous in the best possible way.

New members can join and immediately gain access to 360+ pieces of exclusive content, featuring some of the finest minds working in mentalism today.

If mentalism is your thing and you’re not already involved… let’s just say you’re making life harder for yourself than it needs to be. ????

Happy New Year and welcome to 2026 ?

January at My Mind Rocks marks the start of something genuinely new.

This month we’re exploring the two-person mind reading act – an area of mentalism with a rich history, yet one many performers never get to study properly. We’re joined by The Evasons for exclusive content and a live interactive session, breaking down what real two-person work actually involves.

Alongside this, we’re building the first phase of a minimalist verbal c**e - from teaching and practice through to real-world performance. You’ll see the process, not just the outcome, and begin to learn it yourselves!

The best value in mentalism, come and see why: www.mymind.rocks

Hi all,

I wanted to share a quick update on what we’re exploring this month inside My Mind Rocks (MMR), for anyone interested in ongoing, skill-focused mentalism training rather than one-off tricks.

February at MMR is dedicated to the lost art of muscle reading, also known as contact mind reading. It’s a technique that once sat at the heart of mentalism but has quietly fallen out of regular use. This month is about revisiting it properly – where it came from, why it worked so well, why it faded, and most importantly how it can still be applied in real performance today.

The content includes structured teaching, historical context, practical follow-along tests, and live performance footage showing the skill under genuine conditions. The emphasis throughout is on feel, decision-making, and performer awareness rather than gimmicks or shortcuts.

We’re also joined this month by Radek Hoffman, Polish mentalist and author of The Art of Revealing, who will be delivering a live online lecture for members. His work has been highly regarded for its clarity and thinking, and this session is exclusive to the community.

In addition, MMR runs:
1. Weekly member-led jam sessions (UK & US friendly times)
2. Monthly live sessions and watch parties focused on classic performances and performance thinking
3. An active forum where members openly share ideas, tests, and refinements in a respectful, non-exposure environment

MMR isn't positioned as a marketplace or release-driven platform. Its a community built around long-term development, thoughtful discussion, and practical skill. Many members are working professionals, others are serious students of the art, but the common thread is an interest in why things work, not just what works.

Membership is 15 pounds(GBP) per month, with no long-term commitment.

If muscle reading, performance psychology, and collaborative learning are of interest, February is a particularly good time to take a look.

This is the best $20 a month I've ever spent!!!!!
