Hello,
I've been practising magic tricks with coins for around two years now. I'm 33 and became interested in this hobby after my daughter was born and would sleep on my belly for most of the day, leaving my hands free. On YouTube, I stumbled upon a video showing the "best coin vanish" trick and I was completely amazed as I did not know the J.W. grip. Since then, I've learned some sleights and palms and I'm now working on my first routines. At the rate I'm learning, I'll probably be ready for my first performance by the time my daughter is old enough to enjoy them. |

The 'french drop'- coin effect is one of the best- taking a coin, making it vanish, then producing it behind their ear - fun fun fun <> also if one keeps asking "do a trick -do a trick'' you ask them for a coin-vanish it - then put it in YOUR Pocket - if they ask for it back or ?? just tell them "thank you - $$ helps care for my family". Best to you and yours.

Hello MartinL,
your children will just love magic. And for you, it can be a "no cost" hobby. I still enjoy engaging with my grandchildren with magic. I started off exactly the same way ... 40 years ago. Welcome to the cafe, young man. WulfieSmith |
