Curious if there are any creative ideas on getting white lettering on a black silk? Think airbrushing would work without flaking when rolled?
Hoping for a cheaper option than custom printing. |

The only way to get white lettering on a color silk is to start with a white silk, resist the letters area and dye the rest. It is a pain and takes time to do but is the best option.
Air brushing can work, depending on the type of paint used but it is hard to get the coverage needed with the paint to make the letters look white without running the risk of runs.

Richard Hughes (Hug MAgic) is 100% correct. 'Resist' technique gives the best result, at the cost of a fair amount of labor.
