US wholesaler Rhode Island Novelty sells a poker card deck for $0.40 each ($4.80 a dozen).

That sounds very cheap. The deck of cards could therefore maybe be suitable for making trick decks. Unfortunately, I don't know the deck. Can anyone here judge the quality of the deck, are the cards ok or too thin like some decks from China?

Does anyone know an alternative for buying cheap poker card decks whose cards are "ok" and not too thin?
