Micheal John's Impossible Souvenir Contribution is in Fact a utility system in itself.
It's a field Day for creators like myself!!! I now can apply this "cherry on top" finale to my glass bottle penetrations. (soda, fruit juice, beer, wine, etc) It is quite versatile, especially in my area of the states. I will use MJ's souvenir ending where applicable to both my published and unpublished glass bottle penetrations which till this day people still wonder and are left in awe about from "particular expressions" that are executed ANYWHERE on a glass bottle at the spectator's will. Yes my fellow magical brothers, Micheal John's Impossible Souvenir Bottle/Utility System is versatile and that useful and very much welcomed. Mantel, since you find such interest in the history of the CIB/CTB plot, I have PM'ed. MJ and I both have shared our own personal history and experiences with each other which was quite a pleasant and enjoyable conversation I must say. And, as Micheal previously stated... All is good. Cheers to MJ's son, Noah! who helped click the creative process and starting point on this revolutionary and well sought out souvenir ending with a glass bottle. I would have paid $100 EASILY for both methods shared and taught in precise detail on his DL. It is THAT useful to me where ultimate finales are concerned. The fact they you get things like Optic Rise is a gift IMHO!!! Quote:
Doesn't Aquatic by Sean Fields predate the filming of Factory Sealed. To be clear...about what I actually meant concerning your post... Aquatic was released in a set of notes which I believe was around March of 2007. (and never fully mentioned the EXACT Science and Terminology of what was brought forward in FS) The filming of FS for the project was the year prior (2006) Well before those notes. The actual concept and personal performances of FS to friends and IMB magicians was even waaaay before that. Check your PM for more Time Stamps ... As this thread is entitled "Pretty Penny by Michael John" So, let's stay on track and maintain great focus on this Gem of a Utility System and its offerings. Peace on the Magical Streets

You could use the flat bottomed bottles for 3 of the 4 effects offered. Quarter Penny, Penny Push, and Penny Slam.

Is that not the case for you or have you not tried it yet? I also do the optical rise with the bottle on its side (laterally) which you will soon learn soon in addition to all of my other variations, ideas, handlings, presentational angles, tips, troubleshooting etc. These adds-ons are additional ideas I have that I’m hoping to share, but due to the timing of things we mainly concentrated on the prime material, which I’m glad to see many are enjoying. You have the goods. I hope you continue to enjoy them. There is no definite date for the add-ons at this moment. Again they are simply extra ideas I have of how you can utilize this utility system to be a “jack of all trades” with what’s possible - skies the limit. Please have no fear - the goods are available in the download for those who have not yet submitted their order. Rest assured - I’m confident you will be happy. If need be I may share them with you through a simpler way. MJ |

I like to think of it as a treasure hunt, although admittedly I’ve done a lot of the hunting thus far and have solved many very challenging problems for you. I’m excited to see what you find. Find a coin around 19.05mm in diameter….I teach a technique on the download that allows you to accomplish this with foreign coins that are too big. With little treasure hunting, it is possible to find bottles you can use a US quarter with, but you’ll have to search for that combination. I’ve given you the combinations that work best for me here in the USA with our Pennie’s and dimes etc. I’m sorry I’m not as familiar with all the foreign coins but I teach how to work around this on the download. Experiment with different brands of beer or liquor and different beverages that have glass bottles that work like water, juice, etc. I sometimes even use the big quart/liter beer bottles you find at a gas station or the mini Coronita type to easily carry for walk around and use the same bottle until I’m ready to give it away. Lots of options - yes glass coke bottles work as well. I use a dime when using glass Coke but the bottles are shaped differently from store to store and state to state etc so if you found one that works with a penny, that’s great! There are bottles out there that work for quarters or half dollars too etc, you just have to do a little treasure hunting and simply try different bottles and coins! I’m not sure about a nickel but I’d be interested to hear what has worked for you all! Once you have made your impossible bottle - you can perform essentially any CIB handling/routine you currently know or do with this impossible souvenir utility bottle. That is why it is a utility system - not only can you perform my creations, but you can also come up with your own stuff that ends in an impossible souvenir, - but you can also now make an authentic souvenir ending possible using ordinary props for the first time ever…out of basically any CIB handling you already know and do. This even includes handlings traditionally only done with soda cans!! MJ |

I discovered today that the Coca-Cola bottles from Mexico can vary a lot. I had very little trouble with a penny and one a few days ago. I bought another bottle today and it is not possible. I will try some bottles with a dime. Thanks!

The non-alcoholic Coronas here in TN work just like the ones I use in the instructional video. Note a good test to tell: if you sit a coin at the mouth so it’s upright…only roughly half of its width should be showing, the other half is in the mouth. If it sits with more than half of the coin showing, it will be too big. MJ |

Also all focus is on the coin in the bottle, not on the quarter once they see the penny is no longer resting on it…as it’s left in their hand or yours. That being said, please employ anything you already know to this that you like or already do/use to really make my system work for you. Make it your own, fit your particular style and parameters.
