I'm looking for your favorites that are easily reset and available for close inspection. AND, if possible, KILL 'em with a repeat performance.



So many to choose from, so little time.



Also, if I could get your thoughts on a Ring Flight, best cut and restore, and mis-made bill tricks and presentations.



I've been doing mostly S&S, D'Lite's, Folding Q, and Q-Shell.

If you do S and S, you might want to take a look at my routine for a no-gimmicked S and S, that appeared in my Showtime column in the Linking Ring.

It gets away from any gimmicks -- i.e. that dreadful shell fake that feels exactly like what it is!

Ichazod hit the nail on the head though, CMH is exactly what your looking for!!!

As for cut and restored, I like Sandsational by George Sands. It’s a great routine that can play long, short or anywhere in between.



It’s (a book) still available out there if you look hard enough.

If you have the time to learn, you should start playing with invisible thread. The levitating effects that you can create are so unbelievable that people will think you can walk on water.

However, If you don't practice and you ball it up, you will lose the effect of one of the greatest magic props ever made for close up magic,

I see that many people have reported Crazy Man's Handcuffs. I wholeheartedly agree and often use this trick to approach people and establish my "magician credentials"

I have heard of others who are able to bring the separated bands together again with a quick stabbing motion. I have some ideas, but I don't have a working model as yet. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I can sort out some of my handling problems.
