I would like to pose this question to all the Tenyo lovers.
If you could only preform one Tenyo trick for the rest of your life, what would it be? I would say the crystal cleaver. |

Now that can be a difficult question! Tenyo has produced so many excellent tricks that narrowing it down to just one is challenging.
That being said, perhaps for me, What’s.Next would be the one although I could change my mind over and over again. Yes, Crystal Cleaver is fantastic and easily could have been my answer. I chose What’s Next because I have performed it so many times over so many years. Perhaps, the kind of venue one performs in is a determining factor. Anyway, if say one hundred people respond to your question, you may get close to one hundred different choices or at least quite a few. I hope that no one says T-1 Thimble.

If only one, I'd probably go with the Mystery China Box. I agree with M.M. that Tenyo has put out quite a few excellent effects...and a few clunkers as well!
Just adding my 3 cents worth because anybody can add their 2 cents worth...

Great choice psychod! I find it amazing that Tenyo could produce such a cool mechanical prop like Mystery China Box out of plastic. Certainly one of the very best Tenyo releases ever!

From a practical standpoint (and because I don't own many Tenyo props)
I choose Jumbo Side Track. By incorporating this as the finale' for a Don Alan's BIG DEAL type routine, you'll have a proven winner. It makes for a baffling double climax that is always well received as well as being a bonafide fooler to just about any audience. |

I have a few Tenyo items simply because they are fun, but I routinely perform with the Tenyo version of the Koornwinder Kar. I love that their car can be turned off and on. I also like that it looks like a plastic toy car.

Ultra Tube would be my pick.

Crystal Cleaver, which I found yesterday, and Mr Danger. Use to have a slew of them since I was tdy to Yokosuka, Japan for 6 months. Would go to this department store in Yokohama and go to the toy section and load up on Tenyo effects. I ordered the new mirror and ring box.

I would choose Mystery China Box or Mr. Danger. I let the spec put the spikes in themselves. Great reactions
For those who believe, no explanation is necessary; for those who do not believe, no explanation will suffice.

I have a decent but modest Tenyo collection. CRYSTAL CLEAVER is the most baffling and it slays people young and old.
"Of course, it's the old marked deck trick!"
