Hey everyone. Just here to introduce myself as I'm new to the Magic Cafe. I'm a sleight of hand card enthusiast and am only 12 yrs. I don't have much experience in performing and would love some advice on how to perform to strangers and teenagers. Feel free to PM me but I will probably reply a couple hours late as I live in down under. Thanks everyone!

Hello,
Have fun here! Teenagers are considered to be the most difficult audience for magic tricks because they are often cheeky/direct. Perhaps a good tip for learning to do magic for strangers is to do it as often as possible. The more often you do it, even if it's just a short trick, the easier it will be for you. I'm sure your card tricks will go down very well with strangers and teenagers. Good luck. |

Hey, Hudson52Sleights!
You're at the age I was when I started my journey into magic, with cards being my primary focus then and now. I'm thrilled for you and wish you the very best. Remember: "Practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect." — Richard Turner
