I'm not sure if this is the correct place to put this question. I have been thinking about doing the vanishing silk in a TT. Is it better to use a red silk or a blue silk?

It depends on how well lit the place is. If it is dimmer, the blue will actually show up better and if it is a brighter place, the red will have better visibility.

What about looking good with your clothing? Do you wear a red or blue suit?

There's an old circus maxim -- "When in doubt, paint it red."
Of course, it will matter what you are wearing, too. |
