I just got, "Deep Guilt Aces," and it looks terrific (at least my wife likes the effect )
One idea I have for it in close-up situations is to use it as a test of a spectator's magical ability. I would say to the spectator that if he/she passes the test, I will use him/her as an assistant sometime during the performance. Then, I would do the effect, pocket the deck, do some other effects and come back to card tricks later in the performance, at which point I would again call on that spectator. Perhaps some of you would be willing to share how you use the effect in a routine, to get my brain going about how to incorporate it in a routine. Thanks. Richard |

I like the idea David Regal himself suggested, and that is to make up your own Deep Guilt Aces deck with random cards in place of the Aces. You can then have the deck cut, have the cards turned over behind your back, and divine the cards!
For mentalists, this could be the third part in a mental epic routine themed around casinos! |

Awesome trick! Absolutely killer routine! I used to do one of the basic methods with ordinary cards from Lorayne's reputation makers, but this is the real deal. Always use it as an opening effect and sometimes as a "closer". Great effect here from David Regal, and equally brilliantly thought-out method!

I believe Magic Pro Shop has it, as well as Penguin Magic.

If you don't mind making the deck yourself, Deep Guilt Aces is explained on volume one of The Magic of David Regal. That video alone contains four of his marketed items, so it's a great value.
