Where do you buy the rope that you use for your magic? I’m looking for something thicker and more visible than the cotton clothesline rope that so many performers use.

I usually keep my eyes open for sales and clearances as I surf the various online magic shops and usually score some deals here and there.
I've heard from pros who do a lot of rope work, that Baronian Trading company is the place to go...great selection and all made for magicians. https://www.baroniantrading.com/

I use all kinds but mostly BTC Parlor Rope 50 ft. WHITE ( BTC3 - 10mm No core ) from Penguin Magic. I also found some almost the same size at Lowes on a roll you cut to length and buy by the foot or yard. I have also removed the core myself from some.

TCC Magic has 'Basic' Rope. They feel similar (Polyester-Cotton Blend) to BTC but not identical.

Just got my ropes yesterday from Danny and they are fantastic. I got the no.3 with no core and it is very nice. He just received a new customer. Thanks Danny
