I’ve just bought a replacement thumb tip blendo for one I had and lost years ago. I thought they’d all be pretty much the same, so ordered the cheapest. Unfortunately the quality is very disappointing; I’m not bothered about the thumbtip (which I seem to remember was a softer vinyl one with my first set), but the silks are clumsily overlocked rather than nearly hemmed, the “blendo” silk poorly screen printed so the covers overlap, and they’ve used blue to overlock all the way round it so it sticks out around the red and yellow like… well, a sore thumb!

I know it’s just a silly little trick but I think part of the appeal is the cute little silks, and this set just feels scrappy. Unbranded. I can see places offering from Mr. Magic but does anyone have a set they’re pleased with?
